My dad,(Bob) was a farmer on the praries for many years and has a horticulture diploma. He has been involved in the automotive industry in car sales, and customer service. Bob is a fan of classic automobiles and muscle cars, but has a real passion for aviation. Having been a pilot, his goal is to one day build a plane of his own and get back to the skies! Myself,(Chris) I have an aircraft structural technician certificate. I love aircraft also but I am afraid of heights! So my real passion is cars! My first detailing job was 10 years ago at a Honda dealership. That place was more like a boot camp than a job, which quickly taught me the art of being meticulous. There are so many techniques that can be learned, which is what has kept me interested after all these years. Well that and being able to work on cool cars! My dad and I started our own business, Sparkle and Shine Auto Detailing Inc. in 2007. Due to the rough economy we were forced to close the doors in early 2010. In the time our shop was operating we built a strong reputation for producing the highest quality work in town. That was our goal,to provide great customer service and exceptional detailing. With this website, we want to provide you with high quality information covering everything related to detailing. Its very frustrating paying someone hundreds of dollars for a detail only to find out they didn't clean between the seats!
